Full disclosure

What we don't check, and why

We can't see a competitor's Google ads or their analytics, because that data isn't public. We check what's visible in the website's code. If a competitor has an ad pixel installed (a snippet of code that tracks visitors so they can be shown ads later), that's a strong sign they're investing in advertising. We call it a signal, not a certainty.

We also don't pull follower counts from Facebook or Instagram, because those platforms block that kind of access. We show whether a channel exists, not how many followers it has.

A signal, not a certainty

  1. Google ad copyGoogle doesn't make it public, so we can't see it.
  2. Competitor analyticsWe have no access to other companies' ad accounts or sales data.
  3. Follower countsFacebook, Instagram and LinkedIn block access. We check whether the channel exists.
